CAMP CORRI WAS SO MUCH FUN! FUN! FUN! FUN!
i miss it so much that i can cry now. Facils gathered at the sunken foyer and later on moved up to the hall to wait for the sec 2s to arrive. I was happy with 2.3 for getting lined up so quickly. Haha. Handed them their camp tee and had ice breaker games in school soon after the teachers & chief veron addressed us. 2.3 was really quiet during the ice breaker games. I was like, ohhh my mamaaaaaaaaaa. Dang. haha. After the games,gathered at the basketball court and waited for the bus to arrive. Facils had our own bus! The journey to Jalan Bahtera took 1 1/2 hours! Arrived and had briefing. Went to place our bags in our huts before going for lunch. The food we had was the same. Sang the hungry cheer! (: The class did their very first activity which was abseiling and zipline(flying fox)! Coolio man. Almost all participated actively in this. It was such a pity that a handful of them didnt manage to do flying fox cos there wasnt enough time. Washed up and got ready for dinner.Had song session after dinner. Their songs are dam cool. haha. Instructors entertained us along with good music. HAH. They were dam hilarious and sporty ok! Night activity was........KIDNAPPED! :D Omg,the sec2s made lots of noise cos they got so worked up when chief veron told them that one of their classmates got kidnapped! HAHA. We got the 2nd key but failed to get it on time! =( But its okay cause i can see that they had fun doing what is required at the different stations like spelling the school name with their butts,singing the school song with water in their mouth! HAHA. Chief veron tricked us! she was like '' CONGRATS! you have got....to try again" & we went "ARHHHHHHH!" But we jumped crazily when we got hold of our first key! Our group was the last! hahahaa. We then had our daily debrief & supper afterwhich. 2.3 facils had debrief with instructor lao beng(wenjie) under the stars at the carpark! It was super shiok! Vanessa & i had to sleep in other bunks cos the facils' bunk was too squeezy. Imagine 35 people sleeping in a hut which can only accommodate 30 people! Lol. We went to hut 6 and Michelle low + chelsea was there too! Slept beside chels! HAH. I cannot even make a slight toss. The sec 2 girl who was on my left almost slapped me cos i saw something flying and it turned out to be her hand moving. HAHA. Oh gosh. We were supposed to assemble at 0630am but the sec 2s woke up at like 5AM! Goodness,it was super noisy. I opened my eyes and i thought i was in the wet market okay. yakyakyakyakyak. Was disturbed so we went back to hut 13 to get our stuff to wash up. Our eyes were like half opened only ok. Grrrr. A sleepy man is an angry man. Lol. Assembled, did morning exercise(stretching & BUDDHA CLAPS!) then we sang the national anthem, said the pledge & sang the school song. Wah,its so difficult to sing in the morning when your voice sounds weird. I felt like laughing when i sang ok. Facils must set example to lead so we had to sing. If not,i would have lip sang.HAHA. Had breakfast then changed into our wet attire. Instructors brought us for NATURE RUMBLE! Walked a long way through mud and grasses before arriving at the muddy area where we were supposed to ''swim'' beneath the log from one side to the other. Super disgusting. Its like when your whole face go in,it came into contact with the soil. AHAHA. All of them participated in NR! Very GOOD! We threw mud at instructor lao beng when he swam out of the water! HAHA. So fun! Then we walked up further and smeared mud at each other! haha. Its good for your skin! Makes it so much smoother. HAHA. I was so eager to give sheryl and ms jazielle a hug after we met them at the starting point. HA. They ran away when i came near them ok! Headed straight for kayaking. The instructor took a few minutes to give instructions and introduce the equipment. Had water confidence test first then got a partner each. I was with cheryl low. Haha. She didnt want to do and jas suggested to accompany the sec 2s. Yup. It was super fun. AHA. Someone's paddle just came smacking onto my face while we were kayaking then i pretended to be fine. HAHA! I went like 'ouch' but in my heart. It was like somebody punching you! Lucky i didnt faint and drop into the water! All our boats were side by side & we're supposed to hold each other's hands and stand up! Was super challenging. We did the kallang wave and class cheer,standing!! =) The instructors were super mean ok. They capsized sheryl w/o allowing her to be mentally prepared! CRC was up next! The facils did belaying. It was dam tiring + the sun was scorching! Some didnt do cos they were afraid of heights but we managed to persuade the rest to do! The class was cheering for each other. I noticed the team spirit among them! It was dam hilarious when they were doing the low elements. They had to carry their friends across the wall and they all cam down frowning and with one action. HAHAH. Washed up and dinner was served soon after. THE GRAND CAMP FIRE!
lasted for 3 1/2 hours! All the performances were good! Dancing,cheering and all. It felt like a disco partay! 2.3's performance with mr siddiq was super nice! HAHAHA! He's such a joker man. Charlotte was 2.3's mascot and there was this game where all the mascots were blind folded and they are to dance to the music that keeps changing! Gradually,some mascots will be out and the better dancer will remain. So,all the mascots were already out,leaving charlotte dancing ALONE like a diva!!! Her dance was super hip and sexay! HAHA. Poor girl,she didnt know about the fun behind it. haha. She was then crowned MISS JALAN BAHTERA 2008! LOL! We're so proud of her! (: Facilitators' item was up after more performances. It was very good too! HAHA. Teacher's item was the funnnnniest! They danced to the umbrella song! Mr ramlee had 2 fake boobs and he said it grew within such a short timee! haha. so funny. He was dancing like a sissy while ms zhang was lip singing! then the other teachers were behind,carrying an umbrella! SO LAME! haha. The instructors and chief veron danced too! Accidentally in love & para para! Its super nice! Made us feel like dancing too! haha. & chief veron requested for us to bow our heads and hold hands while she said those words which made us cry/going to burst out into tears. & the background music was soooo emotional. Sheryl & myself couldnt take it so we cried. Genevieve who was on my left couldnt cry but could see that she's emo. HAHA. It was really very. Emotional okay. Chief veron talked about all that we did on day 1 till the camp fire night. From being so dead and restless, we were all high and bonded. This is actually the 1st camp that made me cry and think so much .. We then exchanged huggsss. We really felt like one big family. We also did the friendship dance! It was so messay but who cares! We danced for the fun of it! haha. 2.3, instructor lao beng and we,facils had our debrief. Then we all left to shower and wash up. 2.3 Facils went to meet instructor lao beng at the carpark again,to have our own final debrief. He almost farted okay! so EEW! haha. Then,mr ramlee came to chase us to sleeep. So vanessa,ruoen and i went to another bunk to sleeep. This time,it was much better but colder cos its nearer to the sea. Day 3 Freshen up, packed our bags and brought it to the assembly area. Jasmine & i went around to take pictures of the campsite since its our last time there. Then we had breakfast,nasi lemak. Was okay. Did area cleaning at the MPR and campfire area. Afterwhich,we had prize presentation and closing ceremony! At first chief veron annouced 2.3 as the best improved class but she made a mistake it was 2.2!(: congrats! & THE BEST CLASS AWARD GOES TO............. SECONDARY 2.3! We(facils) were all leaping with joy! but 2.3 was just clapping! hahahaa. But never mind,they stood up and said their class cheer! WOOOO! Took many many pictures with facils,instructors and our classes! This camp is definitely the best camp i've ever attended in my life man. Felt so reluctant to leave!! Thanks to chief veron, all instructors who always entertain us with dance and lameness,facils, sec 2s and teachers! Arrived at school & we were dismissed. Lunched at macs with vanessa,natasha,maria,rachelle & sharon! We were like super duper extra HIGH! Exchanging stories, saying cheers and singing songs. Its all stuck in our heads. Even the SBS bus drivers who were taking the bus said we're noisy. HAHA. How can we be quiet after camp! Our high-ness cannot be controlled lah. To sec 2.3 : HEY PEOPLE! please remember to apply the values that you have learnt in the camp to your daily life! If you can overcome your obstacles in camp,i believe you can do it on your studies too! Just keep striving and tell yourself,you are going to do it right! Do study hard, stay united,bonded and cross over all the barriers which are in your way, TOGETHER as a class!Sheryl, Jasmine, Pei Rong and i love you girlsssssssss!!!!!!!
